Here was me thinking how modern it looked only to read that Chris says it's from the early sixties !

Looks to be coming on well Ian , liking the office. ( Apparently this is the term used by some fly people :smiling3: )

Got a little bit more done to this. Got the intakes painted and fitted. Not that you can see much down there.

First flight 1951 In service from 1956 and retired 1968 so an old kite really. Not as fast as you would think either sub-sonic only

Looking good so far, I can remember making a Javelin many many many years ago, I seem to think it was released by novo / frog.

I believe in the Cold war days, those would have been called the coal hole. lol
