an im working on the controll board to work the helo as there is 12v power reducer down to 3v for the helo motors an a another reducer from 12v down to 6v for the lights leds an a straight 12v wires to work the flightdeck landing lights leds hopefully should look good
here below the controll board an it will be wired in today wanted to do it yesterday but had a boaty m8 come over as he wanted to see tiger altogether an working so today the board will be fitted in an wires up to the flightdeck then i can make a proper start on that seaking an the micro servo fitted to knock on the micro switch to start the seaking on an off

IMG_6992.JPG

Thread owner
an had to have a think here as i forgot to wire up the helo wireing useing stickybacked copper foil tape on the underside of the flightdeck an when the chopper is fitted an its gold power pickup sockets fitted then i can wire them into the copper tape as they are all different voltages IMG_6993.JPG

Thread owner
an thinking im getting ahead of myself as i havnt painted on the flightdeck markings so that was my next job an i used tamyia masking tape IMG_6995.JPG

Thread owner
an here ive started to cut out the tape to paint the markings white an it was a devel of a job but got it done ok IMG_6996.JPG

Thread owner
an done white not perfect but best i could do just as well i dint get the shakes as i could feel me ole ticker goin like the clappers so i had a rest an just sat an lisened to some (sixties music like johnthan king an everyones gone to the moon )IMG_6998.JPG

an while i was waiting for white matt paint to dry i though id fit on the big heavy keel wheight as it just bolts on to the keel so to keep her stable in the water when sailing but if its not needed then i can just unbolt it an remove it but it looks nice an neat so im pleased IMG_6999.JPG

Fantastic progress Chris, I am so enjoying following your build.

HI Garry many thanks for your reply but no worryies as i think i'll make them out of railway figures but these maufactures use to supply the pilots in the kits but now they dont i wonder why as thay cant cost very much to make at 1/72 scale
BUT CHEERS for lookin in Garry much appreciated

Hi Chris, just did a catch up and the flight deck looks good. Sorry can't help with the figures as I don't have any modern pilots in 1/72. I did give away a bunch of them but all WW2 fellas.

Cheers,
Richard
