I acquired this over pass bridge a long time ago but I’m making it into a small bridge. I built it the other night and yesterday after work I found a place for it. It is mocked up for now lots of work to be done in this area. I plan on this to be a dry creek bed we have lots of those in my Rual Area where I live and when I was young these type of bridges went over them. Most all of them have been replaced now. I’ll keep you guys posted on the updates. 94063991-4EF2-4695-97CF-705A5C37021A.jpeg792ABEB3-4B0A-4609-9E88-A9261039BDB1.jpeg5040B5B8-6FEB-4038-9B89-4E5F9A656083.jpeg4F52689A-4AC9-4AD8-A1DE-BF484742DCE7.jpegF861D1DA-DC49-43F2-AAE9-40A3956E4DA3.jpegFE0D45E8-AD7A-42D5-9721-C583411A609D.jpeg8E9EA15B-A6CE-474F-B531-5FBA9018DCBD.jpeg83F865AD-15E2-41F4-A9AF-C040DC9B05A6.jpegA97AFD92-CF61-4443-AD49-F704EFFB42FD.jpegF57E4726-2623-4A4B-8D20-142EFE0F67FB.jpeg

Hi Lee
I do like the bridge. The more I see the more I realise just how much work something like this takes.

Thanks Jim for the complement. Yes lot of different skills you have to learn if you want to do it your self. There’s for more better people at this Model Railroading than me but I’m happy what I do though.

Today I worked on my Coal yard. I removed the old Coal and grass underneath and saved it. Then I applied the ground cover and added the “Coal” which is colored sand. I left a few bare spot to show where the dirt has worked it’s way through the Coal lot I will feather in the old and new Coal when this dries. 53BF9D9C-5602-435D-B938-BFC95229B979.jpeg7535F05E-E862-4B3A-8264-0AF54E4AA62B.jpeg84F0ECB6-0B4D-40E6-BEFC-E94C0D35EAB3.jpeg8D5746C3-3AA4-47C3-AA37-C60DFEA52BEB.jpeg

That’s a Unloader and Conveyor. It slides underneath the Coal Car and unloads the car. It comes as a kit you have to build and Paint it’s from Walthers Models Thanks for the complement EB050141-D660-4258-A7A7-442AD03C2A34.jpeg

Did some work on the Dry Creek project today. I used a file to carve out the Creek Banks the painted them and added some blended Earth turf. 69D7B2AF-8240-46A6-BF1F-DD4CF17D5AA0.jpegFBD78DF4-E0A5-4959-8C6B-047571F049D0.jpegB3E0134A-1E9F-41FE-867F-BA8BC34DAE6D.jpegBB8C69CF-9D98-479A-B207-15732CC4B6B7.jpegFC83E304-798B-4DB8-872E-AEBB7715FED9.jpegD5A69609-0498-4633-98F4-C850B49D792D.jpeg5BC35B4A-F517-47AE-9B04-58A57943F216.jpeg345ED831-E205-4A4B-AE8F-DD2AA33185A3.jpeg890C636A-73C8-4EB8-9B89-9B7FB6CEF264.jpeg

Looks like you have been having a good time with this little project Lee. Nice variety of colors on the creek bank. Should be the bomb when you get the dry bed finished and all weeded up.......trashed up a bit, maybe an old tire or a rusty bicycle frame etc.

Thanks Rick. Still have a lot of work to do probably won’t be any Trash in it I’m modeling it after a place a couple miles from where I live and ever since I can remember far back as a very young kid I’ve never seen any trash in it. It’s a very serene place where the train goes by my Oldest Daughter had her Senior school pictures taken there on the tracks and at that place.

Took a few pic of the Mashkin White 9000 shuttling some trailers around Wortham. Looks like I’m going have to get that TrucTrain trailer in to the shop for some new Pennsy Disc. I Custom Painted and decaled this trailer many years ago and it’s time to freshen it up a little. BECC2AE2-0352-4E22-BB7E-F37BD040EB10.jpegD5D5D94F-18CB-45AF-8A71-528DA35753C7.jpeg

Very nice Lee, I was going through boxes tonight in the den closet and found all my old HO scale Model RXR kits (unbuilt) including 6 cases of DM&IR 26' shorty Ore cars and several Brass Locomotive and cabooses. There's a Module Club that meets on the second Saturday each month at the Mall in Kalispell, I have been invited to run some of my locos on their layout.....we'll see if they can even make a circuit. It's been over 35 years since any of them have had power on them. LOL;)

Sounds good Rick. Go enjoy them while you can or build you a small layout as you know a RXR can be very relaxing and Enjoyable. If you go take lots of pics of your stuff.

Had thought about that Tim but the Rodents would over run it in no time and they are drastically out of scale:tongue-out3::smiling5:.

Lovin the creek bed, so much fun to design and make Lee, you are having a ball .
