Cheers Ron, glad you approve. You're really putting the whammy-jammy on this modern kit Paul ! I'm surprised, but am ashamed to admit it. Should've counted on you of all model detailers ! :thumb2:
Bob, thanks you mateLovely work every time Paul and the Stug's mum!!
Cheers Steve I'm not sure how much will be seen when the crew figures are in place.Fantastic progress shots my friend. Lovely attention to detail
Cheers Andrew Not sure whether I will have the vision ports open or closed yet. The hinge was just some PE sprue and 0.3 wire.Outstanding work there Paul. Simply outstanding - actual working parts and not just a simple hinge either.
Very well done indeed.
ATB.
Andrew
Cheers Allen, the plan was always to have some crew but didn't know how much you would be able to see when they were in place so that's why the interior is pretty basic.Back in your element I see Paul. All the finery is tops, but maybe the CA fumes are too much for ya. You say you are going to put figures in the turret??? Wouldn't that really sorta cover up all the fine work and time you've invested in it. Just my 2 pfennings worth my friend......She is looking really good though...........
Prost
Allen
Glad you approve mate.Hi Scottie
You're not just going the extra mile with this but the extra ten miles.
Jim
Thanks Graeme, i have to keep them up to keep up with you lot.Coming along nicely Paul, up to your usual high standards.
Cheers Joe.Outstanding detail at work Paul !!!
Richard, thanks mate in all fairness this is a great little kit and doesn't need much tweaking at all.Amazing how much detail you can pour onto a new kit Scottie. Plastic sure has its limits. Great work on a class of its own. :thumb2:
Cheers,
Richard

Cheers Graeme, yes the links were very easy to assemble I did have to shave some of the material on the little jig to get the links to sit better but once that was done it was plain sailing. The sandbags look good Paul, I like the way the track links are done on this kit.
Cheers Jim, this was my second attempt the first ones were to big.Hi Scottie
Great looking sandbags. I've seen modellers make them before with mixed results.
Jim
Cheers Andrew, the first ones were far to big.Coming on very nicely Paul.
Those sandbags look very good indeed.
Andrew

Cheers Steve, glad you approve I used a piece of old tights pressed in while they were still soft. And before any wise cracks no they are not my tights :smiling:Another great update mate. Looks like you are having a lot of fun with this build. Nice to see the attention to detail with the texturing on the sandbags. Lovely work all round my friend
