Evening, after a hot morning on my gardening job spent mainly watering (No hose pipe ban here thank goodness.) and doing paper work for the lady I came home and just sat for a couple of hours. Went in to the cave and started another round of figure painting.
Here are some photos of some work done over the last 3 of days.

Hi Jim, there is indeed some work in the cleaning up, this afternoon I started to do another figure only to find in had a couple of mould lines, now considering I'd taken out the ones that were visible and done them, yet there are still more. To cap it all the head flew off :disappointed: I heard it land somewhere on the bench, but considering the state its in decided to leave it until tomorrow:smiling3:
Stay calm mate, don't lose your head in moments of stress :tongue-out2::flushed::tired: !

Yow......is that Matron's twin sister?.......definitely a "low light" lovely :tongue-out2: Loving your building progress on this JR. I think I'm suffering from joiners envy.;):thumb2:

Morning all, and afternoon or good evening to some.

Although very warm yesterday I decided to take a risk and spray the Citroen, quite impressed myself. Used the neo with the paint every thing in sight needle a .5 .

Didn't like the idea of masking both sides of the widows as the instructions said, so did the base and doors like this. After the gloss varnish I 'll attempt the fit them having cleaned out the groves.

Thanks for looking in .

After another hot day having watched too much tv, I ventured into the cave. Not bad with a slight breeze and now in the shade window wise.

Excuse the slight blur in the photos i thought they were better than they are.

Car now glossed in ak 3rd Gen , will it need another coat or what ? Don't want to spend hrs cutting it back , although the doors will need to be stripped as they are rubbish.

Now some of the figures, as I said not the sharpest photos sorry.

2022_4mod2.jpg

Bit of a clean up under the right eye and more paint to do on suit.

2022_5mod 7.jpg
this one has just had a basic coat of paints.

2022_6mod5.jpg
Waist coat had been painted in light grey, but looks to much like a primmer so will find a darker grey.
The basket has has old wood as an undercoat, need to find nice basket colour.

Bit by bit, but with the variations in the clothes colours it takes time. More like 50 shades of brown !

Thanks for looking in, any hints on the gloss will be welcome.

Car looks good JR......too bad about the doors. The "folks" are coming along nicely and it should be a very interesting scene once it is completed. :thumb2:
