Those figures are looking spot on (is it me or is the 'german' figures head rather 'bulky' compared to the others?) certainly like what you've done with the few bits I sent you - a far cry to what I could ever do!
I take it that the ninja turtle will be making an appearance at some point, rather than just standing in the background :smiling2: :smiling2: ;)

Just looked through the whole deal, and I now have a strange yearning for a Baggette and a latte ;)

Jim.
Yes Jim, ......I have been trying to get JR to have the "fat" gal in the window of La Patisarie placing a fresh plate of pastries on display.
So far we have Madame Fifi!........ :tongue-out3:

Your modelling just gets better and better. The figures look great, love what you've done with the advertising column and the car is great.
Hope the eye improves.

Just caught up John. Excellent work so far - really looking forward to the finished item.

Meanwhile. Tubes for Mason Bees! What are you on about?

Hi Gerry. Thank you . The rather large headed lady does indeed stand out . Heavens knows what the sculptor was thinking of when he decided to make her. The trouble in sizing seems to start when mixing up different manufacturers products, but looking at people in general there are marked differences in size . Oh the Ninja Turtle, one of my girls had it as a child, Christine found it the other day and unbeknown to me put it on the back of the bench . Yesterday I suddenly noticed a grinning pot giraffe amongst the clutter ! Never a dull moment at Race Towers.

Tell me truthfully Rick now who do you prefer ! Think very carefully before you answer ! :smiling3:

Cheers Mick , they do indeed .

Thanks Jim. Think my glasses for middle distance just need a tweak. Just one of those annoying things.

Hi Dave, thank you .
The bee tube . In the photo you can see some tubes normally strong cardboard .Mason bees like to nest in any hole esp in brick work .These bees don't sting and are great pollinators. In fact apple producers encourage these solitary bees to their orchards . To encourage them you can buy a container full of those tubes , hang it on a sunny wall or tree and the bees will use them for laying their eggs, covering the tube end with mud . The young bee will then grow and force its way out when mature.

John,
Some great looking figures there my friend. Keep up the great work.
Thanks Paul . Looking forward to meeting up again .

Thanks Andrew .

Thank you Rick , hope you saw Madam FiFi :smiling2:

Hi Jim, don't suppose there's a French Bakers near you !
Alas, no my friend, but my daughter in law is a professional grade baker, she does all the baking for our little general store/deli.
She makes the best cheesecake on the planet, and being a native New Yorker, I know cheesecake.
Come the holiday season she is covered in flour like a ghostly apperition. She makes pies for half the county and pumpkin pies from scratch
no canned pie fillings for her! Also apple and cherry pies to die for.....no baggettes though.

Jim.

Coming along really well now John. Love the mason bee aside as well. We also have a house for them in our garden.

John, the car looks fine to me as is. The shine/gloss really depends if it is a new car or an old one that has been hidden away from the dreaded huns. The figures are coming on great. This will be a masterpiece when finished. Looking forward to the next instalment.
