Love the "chasing chickens" idea. Work bench is brilliant.
Hi Jim , credit must go to Graeme . The work bench I'm happy with , as Rick says just need a hammer !

Yes, indeed Jim, brilliant it is, but don't egg 453 on too much!

Coat on.........
My word 570 your on form .;)

John, I bet three guys won't be able to get all 3 chickens but three guys will at least cover all angles. Once the chickens have hatched their plan to run helter-skelter you'll see feathers flying. :smiling2: Gen set looks convincing and the work bench kind of resemble our work benches...messy.
You must be feeling better by the looks of it. :thumb2:

Cheers,
Richard aka Wabble
Am in deed Wabble , work bench is indeed based on mine !:nerd:.

Very nice Dzohn, back in the groove.
Thanks Paul, good to feel better.

Looks good JR, might see if you can locate a hammer for that tool kit....very handy item when working on heavy equipment.;)
Your right, think tomorrow I must make one.

Now do I need all three figures chasing the chicken's , thinking 3 may be a tad too many ?

So
2022.jpg
In order from the left A, B OR C , ANY COMBINATION ALL OR ONE OR TWO.

Voting now open .

John.

453, after much deliberation, here's my suggestion.....

I think A should be to the left of C, with B slightly to the right of A. That way C will have a clear run and not be hampered by A or B. But, of course A might trip up C and make B laugh and get C annoyed so he might punch A for tripping him up, and then B will come and help A, causing C to run away. This will leave just A and B to get the chickens. Although A will not be much use 'cos he has a black eye from C's punch. So you might as well just have B, as he is the only one left of any use to chase the chickens......

Cracking idea, what!

Hi John
I have three cousins and a wife that are qualified nurses. I therefore know how overworked and underpaid they really are. My avatar shows I support their strike 100% ;)
As to chucks, they are pretty much driven by their stomachs…..a handful of corn and you could catch all three on your own LOL….that’s how we catch ours if we need to :thumb2:

My god , that took some working out 570 , did you use your roofing square to arrive at those positions ?
What worries me is there are 2 hens and one cockerel, have you any idea of the permutations that this could give . Your thoughts would be welcome .

453 , in a very confused state !

Quite so Tim, I can agree with you .
Your not going to tell me you eat any of your ladies are you , ( chickens ) ?

453. Don't know wot permutations is. Is it summat to do with a woman's hair do?

Re. the chickens. When they are eventually caught, I recommend Paxo with chopped Brussel Sprouts and crispy smoked bacon all mixed up and shoved up the Parson's nose. ( Other makes of stuffing are of course available)

570 off to make a cocoa!

God no……they get a good comfortable life with us, and then get buried in the garden with full honours when they pass. In the recent cold snap they were given porridge first thing to warm them up after the cold nights. They are all ex battery so life was hard enough for them before they came to us without having to worry about going in the pot. The state they are in when you first get them is quite distressing.

I remember you saying they were ex battery hens, nice too think they're loved and have a great remainder of their lives . No doubt then hints on catching not eating !

Just went through it all john, sorry I don't tag along during all these pages, time will just not allow it, but I have scrutinized the entire thread and must say
you are doing some wonderful work on quite an ambitious project.
I especially love all the woodwork and that Russian SPG is quite a project in itself. Hell, I'm having problems just trying to fish up a stupid armored car!

My huge Dragon Wagon dio on it's gigantic base is a woefully incomplete dust covered ghost town/vehicle graveyard sitting up in the attic:disappointed2:
My "Children of the grave" wounded soldier dio is also on a man cave shelf but has not been relegated to the attic....yet.
I hear my poor "children" crying out...."please don't forget us!"

Winter is supposed to be my time for tending the fires, sipping hot toddies and working on my modeling.
But somehow it has been Mother tending the fires and grumbling away, while I am off doing God knows what while freezing my ballocks off
trying to deal with this vicious weather and customers and animals and.......UGH! I need a break!:tired:

Thanks for joining in my friend .At least it's now 40 f , that would be quite hot for you !

John,
All looking rather splended mate, I think all three should be after the chucks.
Thanks Paul, as it stands it's all three, somehow I think it's a conspiracy to get me to paint all three ! :nerd:

Running out of superlatives here John, very, very nice work indeed.

Andy.
Kind of you to say Andy.
