As there are a few model friendly apps out there which ones have you found, that are not only useful but actually does as it says on the box.
To start the ball rolling:
My wife put me onto an app for my mobil that turns your smart phone into a PDF scanner. Single side, loads of pages just like most printers you tell it which of the photos you have just taken you want as a pdf and it makes it for you. found it very handy. Pdf files are normally very good at sizing up without going all fuzzy. I use it to make pdf files of instructions that need copying.
(Heads up Tim, pm inbound lol)

Its free!

Do you have any apps you wish to share?

If you have an iPhone long press on the notes icon and it lets you scan documents

Oh! Another one that can come in very handy for measuring real-world stuff (it’s not accurate enough for modelling) is Apple’s Measure app that comes with iOS and iPadOS:

It really does work as well as that article claims: you may have seen the photos I sometimes post of new stuff for the stash, taken on a table with a surface of little tiles. When I used to Measure app on them it told me the tiles are 5 cm square, or 25 cm² if I wanted to know the area. A ruler confirmed that they are, indeed, that big.

I use 'modelpaint42' for checking paint colours and more importantly other company's versions of the colours I need, although the app is for IOS i'm sure they also do an Android version.
