Scale Model Shop

1/700 scale IJN Ships make over

Thread owner
At 1-700 scale, how large is the base? could it be mounted on a rotating display stand? That would be awesome to be able to have the view change continuously.....sort of like watching the world go by! :nerd:
15 by 12inches Rick, could be mounted but I would have to purchase a battery powered one for it to turn automatically.
A great scene, the bilges are a really affective bit of detailing.
Thanks Mark. The lil' stuff usually do. :smiling6:
Amazing!
Pete
There is always something to add Pete like the seaplanes having an oil change.
Just stupendous mate - I am in awe ... !
Steve
Appreciate that Steve.

Today is rest day...didn't even make the trip to the LHS. Just resting my eyes and feeling sleepy...very unusual even after having a nap.

Cheers,
Wabble

Could be the aftermath of Covid. Rest is definitely the best thing. Harbour dio just gets better and better. Superb modelling skills.

Hi Richard, 'Twould seem to me a worthwhile investment if no too costly....plenty of time to get here before the show. I would give it serious consideration being as there is sooooo muuuuch to see in such a small space. :nerd: :nerd: :nerd::thumb2:

Thanks Chris, dio propped up on a set of drawers against the wall with one LED light source shot wide and cropped.
Those photos could easily pass for the real thing.
Thanks Jim, getting it down to eye level helps.
Thot it was real.........
Perhaps in B/W might may further enhance the trickery Rick.

Hi Chris, sorry I haven't the time to photograph the top shots you wanted. If the weather is good tomorrow I'll take some.

I have a question for the Mods... do non members have access to like a posting? I have 2 likes with a question marked avatar in my alert but it doesn't appear on the list of likes after directing to the post liked. Very strange... occurring at 4.28 and 4.32 Malaysian time roughly ninish in the morning in UK on two separate postings with similar topics.

Confused,
Wabble
Just a thought... could it be Simon T visiting?

Cheers,
Wabble
