Just back from a toy fair I came away with four kit master pullman coaches one remote control tank IMG_20230812_144043.jpgIMG_20230812_143530.jpg
And waiting for me was this little reliant rialto witch will be painted as my very first one I had IMG_20230812_143639.jpg

Picked these up at B&M.

As you can see they have padded rubber jaws and are about 7cm long. As someone commented a while ago "You can never have too many clamps" :tongue-out3:

Major expense for me today to buy a vital tool:

Building the LCA made me realise once more how useful one of these can be, but my old one (35+ years) from school broke some years back, and the other one I found buried under stuff in my hobby room was almost illegible, so I ended up spending all of 95 cents at the local bookstore :)

Found this on Amazon for £10.95 delivered and couldn’t resist :smiling4:
Box is a bit battered thanks to poor packaging but contents thankfully intact.

Geoff.
Just had a read about this, looks very nice indeed..

I needed a few sizes of plastic strip I found I didn’t have, as well as treadplate, and supplies of some other stuff were running low:

Also, the place I ordered it from had knife blades of types I hadn’t been able to find for years (wide chisels and saws), while the copper wire is just convenience — sure, I can twist it myself, but for €2.95 for 55 cm (=three or four tow cables), I might as well splash out for it.

How many tpi. on the #13 saw blades? I'm looking for something in the range of 40+ for extremely fine cutting. Thanks also for supporting the U.S. economy with all those "Yank" Flags on your products.....reminds me of "Flag Day" here in the States. :thumb2:

Just arrived at the post room here at Race Towers.

Lovely haul Peter. The rialto looks fun. The coaches are extremely interesting. They are from the Blue Pullman if you didn’t know…..they were withdrawn in 1973, after only 13 years service, but were a forerunner of the inter city 125s. Did you get a power car as well, or is that two kitchens and a parlour?
