for some unknown reason I've apparently agreed to get the decking in the back garden ripped up and replaced with some rather posh slabs.... (there goes all my spare cash for a while),

And I started building an Academy M1A2 Abrams TUSK...

We that was a bit of a worry, I was updating the database on the server from v5 to v10, everything I read said it was pretty straight forward and things rarely go wrong, all I can say is I'm glad I took a database backup before playing, I did think I had lost everything even the files as I couldn't access the server, but I managed to get it and rescue them, everything should be working again, but as I had to format the server and reinstall everything there might be some things missing, any issues let me know and I will look in to it.

On a similar note, the reason why I had to update the database is because in about 8-12 weeks I will be changing the forum software to vbulletin, I'm just waiting for them to create an import file, once they have done it and we have manage to migrate the threads, posts etc the forum will need to be moved to their cloud based hosting, that will only be for about a week while we make sure there are no problems, then I will move it back to the server, so there will be a little bit of downtime.

Good luck with vbelletin , been a while since I used it @ www.dvdoctor.net ( now only an archive ) and it was a royal pain to admin.

The maximum size of photo files seems to be smaller - the forum used to resize them but doesn't any more. Is this temporary @john ?

I've noticed that this evening too... went to post up 2 pics earlier,but it wouldn't accept the 2nd..... so I just ditched it,strange though,as I'd taken both pics on the same phone,and consecutively?!! :thinking:

Well Smithy i do resize all my pics in the paint section on my p/c from m/b down to k/b an then the pics load easy

IM Glad you let out one of MATRONS secrets John is that what she done to me on sheringham station as she came an sat close to me an she had some gadgets that she shew me so now i can make myself a tinfoil suit to stop the signals from gettin to her lol an pic below of MATRON an her gadgets she is showin me WOW LOL
