Not got much done as been battling with a new phone
Couldn't do the normal transfer of apps as the Internet on the old phone had packed up .So had to do it app by app , at least its now done.

Decided that separate roof tiles at the size required was too time consuming. Cut some very thin section and have glued it in lengths, then cut the tiles into it .

Sorry you'll need to turn your screen or lie on the table :smiling3:

Thanks looking in , cricks to necks claims not considered .

Looking good John. Looks like you glued them then scribed them afterwards? Next time I would try cutting the tiles into the edges of the strips before you stick them down.makes it easier to avoid damaging the tiles underneath.
I would have used card, but the foam makes the damage easier to represent :thumb2:

Tried Neils suggestion, seem better. The only thing is the build up as you go up the roof, happened with the thicker tiles as well. Might start again with proper joists and laths to glue a strip of tiles down, so there is less tiles under the over hang. Not bothered about how long it takes, just it must look right.

I agree mate and given your attention to detail that's the right call.

Looks good already but I can see what Neil means. I have no doubt you'll end up with an excellent roof.

Yeah Brother!!! What Jimbo said and it better not leak when it's done either!!!......PM in the morn...

Got this far by close of play. The cross ceiling joist are not yet fixed. Spend a bit of time cutting .8 mm laths for the tiles.

Thanks for following.
