Scale Model Shop

Latest Acquisitions (2023)

Nice, an uparmoured Büffel (no idea why Hobby Boss felt they had to translate that name, though). If you want some fun videos of these in action, and ideas for very unusual diorama, look on YouTube for tractor pulling buffel :)

As the Christmas chaos subsides back into some sort of normality….Or whatever it is, I finally take stock of my Xmas bounty.
The Mrs has a good memory for things I point at when we’re out shopping :smiling4:

Is this like the greenhouse you did some time ago?

That's interesting John. When you get round to building it let's see how you get on. I'd enjoy seeing how it is assembled.

Something I have always been fascinated with and looking forward to assembling. I think that a few years it was available in week;y/monthly instalments with a magazine but now it comes as a complete kit.

I am slowly emptying my mum's house. So been dropping off a lot of stuff to the cat charity shop we support. Simon who runs it told me they had some kits dropped off with other stuff. Some airfix which were partly started and this

Box creased, not much but complete, he suggested a £5 so I gave him £20, still a bargain

Well this bloke Santa never came, so stuff him so I went out onto the interweb on my own and got my own pressies, so Santa you can stuff your socks and baggy Y fronts, and I ate the mince pies and fed your milk to the stray cats and as for the carrot for Rudolf....

Ah, one of the Leopards the Dutch government sold off because they were “no use for the kind of war fought in Afghanistan” …

Nice haul Mike!!! I did the same this year but not to anywhere near the same extent as you!! ;)

Michael,
Build yours first then I can copy a master.
It will be a while yet Paul, still got the Doher and Churchill to finish plus bases for them and a couple of others. But thanks for the complement, and if you mess up the slat armour there is a spare sprue here.

Like Mike, I figured that if nobody would give me a Christmas present, I’d buy myself some. Did that last Saturday, but they only arrived from Belgium tonight:

The sand-coloured paint is for the Panzer IV I’m building at the moment, the Magach is to pilfer for its tracks for the next model I intend to build (don’t worry, I’ve done the research and this particular type was also, but rarely, seen with the older tracks so I will build it later with a set of those :) ).

The M3, finally, will be the basis of a T6 medium tank — which is to say, the Sherman’s prototype. I saw earlier tonight that a 3D-printed one of those has just been released, which worried me slightly until I looked at the image of it :)
