HI ALL
well still fitting in the leds an here ive fitted the front landing gear landing light an as i dint want the wires to be seen i just filed out the insides of the landing gear as this model is so heavy it need to have a metal bar fitted in the gear so had to do a bit of filein to get enough room for the wires to go up the gears centre so no wires are seen in pic below IMG_8865.JPG

AN HERE its all fitted to geather lovley but will the led still work ?IMG_8866.JPG

AN YES it does thank goodness but some of the other parts dont fit that are suppoced to fit on this landing leg so may leave them off as they are only small IMG_8867.JPG

Twas only a leg pull Chris. You're doing a superb job buddy.
WELL Doug OH YOU NAUGHTY BOY YOU LOL a leg pull it may be but think it must have some hydyrulics pipes somewhere on it
chrisb

That might actually be a good way to disguise the electrical cables to the LED, at least for aircraft that have them, of course :smiling3:
AN HI Jakko yes could have left the led wires as hydloic pipes but they dont come down the gear leg very far but i will have a look in my tomcat book to see if there is any on it as i like to keep it as real as possible but thanks Jakko for your input
ATB SIR
Chrisb

Cleaver or what, nice job Chris.
AN HI JR well yes i maybe gettin to clever for my own good lol but i like the challanges on these models to give it that just bit extera an the clever bit will be connecting all these wires up an gettin it all workin phew as its took me all today just to get the wires an the metal bar in that nose gear yes patiance is the name of the game most certainly an still months to go before i can try out tiger so this will keep me busy till then
cheers sir

HI again John well them small batt packs are good but if you have a lot of leds goin the batts soon run down then its a case of keep changein batt for new ones but havin the leds powered from the mains there is not that problem an i have the power adapter fitted to a timer switch an set so the planes light up only in the eveing an have it set for 15 mins on an 30 mins off so i dont send the missus up the wall lol but she says she like to see them goin an the timer also powers my big 1/350th USS ENTERPRISE all lit up so its a nice display goin an no batts to change hows that for an answer John ?
