I usually have a 'do I really want this' once a year. Not going to list mine. Compared to some there are a lot, but compared to others there aren’t. I know I have a good few hundred figures to paint, and enough kits in most genres to keep me happy so I really don’t buy anything like as much as I used to. I sold a lot of stuff I knew I would never build again during first lock down, and will probably cull some more this year, but the majority are subjects I’m interested in. Some of these model shop sized stashes amaze me. I can probably build a subject a month or about fifteen figures, so know I have several years worth here, why buy more?
Oh yeah!! I mean - so do I.I usually have a 'do I really want this' once a year.
No, I'm talking about models, not the rumpy-pumpy type.....Oh yeah!! I mean - so do I.:tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy:
Anything less than 10 items does not count as a 'stash'. Please go to the fast checkout aisle...My "stash" can just about be seen under my bench:
Probably 6 or 7 kits, 3 bought especially for upcoming group builds :tears-of-joy:
I'm not one for collecting, I buy to build, but I'm sure it'll creep up slowly.
Just actually read through the list...I sell off lots of kits every eighteen months to two years and the last time I did in 2022/3, I freed up over £5000! I am due to have another sales drive this year and will try to get my stash down to my comfortable 200 kit level.

'We demand to see the evidence, your honour!'I'm down to about 400 now.

Um, I think you just defined why any of us buy anytjingI just scrape in them with a measly 11 :tears-of-joy:
I did have quite a few more but thinned it down to stuff I’m absolutely, definitely going to build.
Then I just buy stuff that I want to build in the here and now such as for group builds.
Geoff.
Despite being a member, i can't see your stash, it says I need to be a member??Mine :smiling3:
Ah! I was merely talking about my 'massive' stash of 1.No, I'm talking about models, not the rumpy-pumpy type.....
Same here, except for some reason, building is the slower activity …I'm not one for collecting, I buy to build,
I have a mind to acquire a BV myself one day.Mine is HERE, but hardly qualifies as a true stash. :smiling4:
