discussion What scale / what kit?

Hello good people, I am looking to add three or four river boats / cruisers to my 00 gauge river scene. Can anyone recommend which kits or (don’t shout at me) resin models I could use and what scale kits I should be looking for.

Hornby used to do canal boats in their Skaledale range but they don’t seem to be in production at the moment, you might find them on eBay or in your local model railway shop. They are rresin models and factory decorated so minimum work required before adding to your layout.

Thanks for this, but I already have two canal boats. I’m looking for river boats.
