I’m convinced he’s not really building this in 1:35 but more like 1:3.5 …
Ha ha cheers Jakko.
That or Paul is only 4cm tall in reality!!!
How can anyone produce such fine detail so small?????
Well obviously - Scottie can!
Stupendous Paul, just amazing.
Doug, thanks very much fella appreciate it, but you were way off with my height I'm actually 6.2 cm tall :tongue-out3:
I'm going to run out of superlatives for the work carried out on this forum! Just superb bit of detailing.
Arnold, thanks mate and I have the same problem there are some seriously good modellers on here.
It's easy to do that on here. So much talent.
I agree there are some great talents.
It's all been said Scottie - absolutely amazing scratch work.
Thanks Jim, glad you like it.
Awesome updates Paul as always
Lee, much appreciated mate.

Not getting much bench time at the moment, but a few things done.

Added some of the smoke dischargers to one corner. Chains have been made and added along with new nibs.

I made a NATO jump lead and added it to the inside of the tool locker door then added the kit etch.

Finally for now I have started adding detail to one of the roof hatches. The idea is to modify the hatch to allow it to be opened as the kit offering is shut.

More insane detailing - Love it!

How did you do the chains?
Thanks mate. My method for chains is to take really thin wire this is 0.2mm fold a length in half. Hold one end then twist from the other end. Keep twisting until your happy with the size of twist. Them gently flatten to form the links.

That sounds like a neat method - thanks Dave.

The slow work continues not much done as decorating the kitchen.

The commanders cupola has had a bit of detail added including the springs to cushion the lid close and the hold open catch. I need to revisit the catch as not happy with the grip on the end.

The drivers hatch has also had a tweak the black out blinds have been added and the head pads.

Also added was the padlock eyelet to the left of the picture.

cheers
Scottie

As usual, you have improved it almost beyond recognition Paul, All the extras make a real difference. I will have to try your method for making chains.

Scottie,
I wish I'd never started my Bergepanzer so soon - it might have eventually finished up half as good as yours ( :sad-face: ) - superb work so far, really looking forward to the finale!
