Today I cut another one of those cases I’ve saved over the years this time it was a smaller one. This one will be for my German 75mm Infantry crew I built several years ago.
I used Wood Putty to add texture Mixing trying to get my right color
Painted the base going let dry then I’m going to add some grass and a small Hedge row in front and sides. Notice the mud on bottom of the Flak Gunner’s boot. Thought I would try this I’m really out of my comfort zone these but it can’t be any different that what I do in my Layouts as far the landscape. Updates soon.

Thanks JR for the complement and stopping by. I couldn’t find a name for him so would he be considered a Flak Gunner? Or something else because it’s a artillery piece.

Started back on this tonight after it dried time to do the landscaping. Using Rocks I got out of my Driveway. Going to paint the base Black and call this one done. Good night Gracie…….

Lovely stuff Lee. Almost jewel like and the simplicity of the composition suits the subject well, showing off the gun and crew. I did a version of this a few years ago and thought it was a lovely little kit.

Building some small scale dio's is fun even when they are intentionally basic. I've built a few over the years just using an old CD as a base.

Here’s what’s the case looks like after I cut the center out with a Dremel tool. Had a long day no bench time tonight maybe have some updates tomorrow evening. Adding the foam board
