Had a good look through the stash and this came to light, and complete with some ATL -13 Friul tracks. Don't know if I will use them as it has rubber tracks ", shouts of oh no " from those that find plastic tracks easy. I might keep them for a Panzerjager 38 t.
Any way Tamiya , so expect all to be good with in the box.

Have an idea for a diorama, set in a built up area, so bricks and walls will make an appearance.

Hope you will join me .

No photos,( a great cheers from the stalls ) This kit is a dream to build so far.
Already done the hull and next some wheels to put on. Plastic is nice to work with no flash and only a few seam lines and those are so small.

Managed to get back up, thankfully a builders merchant was delivering in the Rd, so Hi Ab came in handy lol

As it seems normal for me building any kit is fraught with problems. Certainly not Tamiya's fault as I find most kits a nightmare and as soon as they are done the to me best part can begin.
Armed with a magnifying lamp , lights and a pair of 2.5 lens in the special glasses I still make stupid mistakes. Of course for me being left handed and having limited depth of field is somewhat a problem with kits but not when it comes to building "! so will just carry on. The tracks , will use the kit ones as they appear to be ok, will keep the Friuls for another build.

The hull and that area went well, some very small parts, but they were so well moundled there was no problem. Left the wheel off as I'm going to paint them first . 2022_2.jpg

Now my problems.

First was the barrel at the breach end, no way I could understand how one on the leavers fitted, took a guess . It flew off later into the distance never to be seen again.

Now came fitting of the gun after as the instructions, here it failed for me, so out with the cutters and removed the base as the photo shows. Went straight back in after that. Unfortunately the angle appears to be stuck, didn't need to alter that as it will be in a street so lucky there

Cutters at the ready

Just have those two covers to fit at the front and a bar across the top.

Comments welcome.

Hello Mr Race,
Not seen one of your builds and may i say it...A DIORAMA, for a long time. Will certainly pull up a chair for this. You may continue.

Lots of very fiddly bits in the gun and its mount so hats off for getting it together John :thumb2:
