Choosing a kit from your childhood
There's a few..... I once drew up a list of kits I can remember doing as a kid with a view to redoing them...... When I started pricing them up they were mostly unobtainable or I'd need a lottery win to buy them cos they are so collectable Revell Pzl11 in 1/72 Tamiya Saladin in 1/35.....still... -

How do we manage to lose large parts ?
Lost count of the times I've been on hands and knees with a torch going all CSI looking for a part..... Given up..... Find something suitable in the spares box and glue it in...... Then I swear the lost part dematerialises on the bench right in front of me! Once had the part turn up a few... -

Been using a hot melt gun for this bit Motors glued into gutted mountings, mountings glued into hull so they engage with the gear boxes, wires run out the back of the hull I've run a battery across it to make sure the motors run cos once I close up the hull I won't be able to get at them again...- PaulTRose

Best sets of tweezers....
I got a really nice set of three in the works.... Straight, angled and broad tips..... About three quid the set...... Wasn't expecting much for the price but they have worked out great,..... Bought another set cos I'm always putting things down then can't find them lol -
