Is this acrylic paint or water based paint?

I thought acrylic paints were water based? (apart from some like Tamiya and Mr Hobby, which are a sort of acrylic/solvent/alchohol mix?)

    Been distracted

Always lusted after a Jonny Seven as a Yoof! They cost silly money now, thats if you can even find one! (y);) I had an Airfix FN rifle, and like most kids almost immediately broke the thin and flimsy barrel end, and then lost all the little plastic bullets, Doh!

An update on my wife and my lack of posting since today.

Sorry to hear that bud.... Been through this now twice, with my old Dad and my Father in Law, both ended up in care homes. Not an easy thing to go through or deal with. Get as much help as you can mate. And remember to look after yourself too. Be well..... (y)

    Diecast interior updates

As above, whatever you can get in the space really, if you can get a dremel type device in there, then it will be faster, but if not a small razor saw or similar, but it will take longer, then tidy up any rough edges with scalpel, sanding, etc.

Ok so its done, here are some pics, (below) I have literally just taken it out of the mould and done nothng else. I know you can sand/polish resin so I could maybe tidy it up a bit, but, as this was just an experiment, not too fussed about a pristine fuinish TBH. For me it was more about...
