Chris' 1/144 Ye-2A (and Ye-2 Redux) (Neil's Blooming MiGs everywhere GB)

In my quest to complete a dozen mini-MiGs for this GB, the latest finished articles. Didn't do a build thread as it would be practically the same as the Ye-2 original one Except... Being monumentally unsatisfied with the original Ye-2, despite several subsequent reworks, I've cannibalised the...

    What did I agree too!

The dials on the control panel are an interesting feature But is that all the cockpit contains, because there's a lot to see under that greenhouse

Chris' 1/144 Ye-50 Interceptor prototype (Neil's Blooming MiGs Everywhere GB)

So, for my ninth MiG-21 related build, the Ye-50 mixed power interceptor prototype. Somewhere in here is another Trumpeter F-7-II! The Ye-50 was developed from the Ye-2A MiG-21 prototype, as a mixed rocket/jet powered interceptor. Three were converted from Ye-2As, and the first one flew in...

And now, The extremely nice Domi Jouert of Retrokit in Belgium, sent me all this stuff free, just because I'm doing all these MiG-21 types for the GB (and beyond!), and I bought his I-144 Analog conversion (and I live in the same town he used to over here) Basically, all his spare Eduard -21...

    Chris' 1/144 Ye-50 'Not another -21 prototype!)

So, finishing up, with a lot of pre-measuring, paper templating, and fettling, the rear canopy is on. It's a piece of acetate (actually a cutting from a railway model building window sheet), cut with tabs to slot into the back of the cockpit Which took two days work for the glue to hold it in...

    Langy's Airfix 1/48 Buccaneer S.2B

According to my partner who was in the RAF in the 'eighties, and whose job was to photo parts of the 'plane for damage record purposes: The flaps and elevators (movable part of the horizontal tail surface), stay usually in the position of the control column in the cockpit, however, they can...

    The Great Swan

Was hoping for some more pics What range(s) are the vehicles? Is that the IBG Scammel crane? The figures look familiar but I can't place them. The head sculpts are pretty distinctive

    ISU-122 Tank Destroyer........ Ogonek 1/30

This is just, wild Yeah, chances of getting those motors working is probably small as they're bound to run a weird voltage or something Very interesting project tho'

    Papa695s Zvezda 1/48 SU-25 Frogfoot

Really rather sinister in black primer. No user has ever deployed a 'night attack' scheme!

    Papa695s 1/600 HMS Ark Royal

Now the hull is this far, any thoughts to the weathering, especially below the waterline?

My ever expanding 1/144 Soviet aviation collection further expands (I said I wouldn't get anything else this year, but it was less than half the retail price, and the cheapest option on eBay, even with the postage from Luxembourg!) No instructions, but it's all in separate bags, so no worries...
