Right, still here. Painted the front / rear superstructure in Kure grey ( Yamato). So not really accurate! One thing for improvement is dry fitting, slight gaps caused be PE not being a perfect fit. But end in sight and its finally coming together. Keep looking at the next build but...- BattleshipBob

What do you do with waste sprue?
Most go to recycle, long lengths i cut up into small lengths. I glue these inside superstructure and funnels etc. This allows me to attach crocodile clips to the sprue and spray without touching the plastic.- BattleshipBob

Dragon to no longer make Model Kits?
Built a lot of the StuG kits, good kits but awful plans. Did message them suggesting they either copy Tamiya's plans of hire a x employee! Boxs crammed with spurs. When I stopped making StuG I had boxs full of spare parts, almost a complete kit! They did post a new 1/350 HMS Rodney but it's...- BattleshipBob

Customs
Customs are very odd, bought kits and stuff from Japan, nothing. But a ship cradle from Taiwan hit by customs. Do wonder if its lucky dip sometimes. Also Never been hit by customs when buying from China? Bought the 1/200 yamato from France, nothing. But had a letter from the courier a week...- BattleshipBob

Taping
Always used Tamiya, when in place i rub the edge down with a cotton bud. Then pull off gently close to the start. Never had a problem- BattleshipBob

Evening still breathing ! Been experimenting with accelerator and not that happy. However made up the collapsible bridges. For some reason found them a right pain. One fitted and left to set Just incase folks don't know. German large warships had to navigate the Kiel canel to get access to...- BattleshipBob
