Chris I know you will sort it. But I had a similar problem animating my owl puppet. I wanted the head to turn and the eye lids to move up and down. I solved it basically like this. All the best on your terrific build. John- wotan

How would you start a Diorama?
My most usual starting point is the wish to construct a certain type of building. I will then find photos or paintings of such building and sketch my version. The next part, which is usually just planned in my head, is to create a story of what is going on near the building. What ambience I want...- wotan

Thanks Richard not the same as your great dio's A new puppet version. This time entirely Arduino controlled. Early days bit excellent use for a drained single malt. An owl I hope eventually. He will have 5 servos controlling him via 5 potentiometers and an Arduino Uno. John- wotan

Jap Anime
So I got around to painting my little anime project. Very different from normal painting since there is no toning and all the colours are just flat. Still it was a fun project and more lessons learnt. John- wotan

1/35 Scale Shadow box Dinner on the front line from Miniart.
John I don't know if this is too late, but I seem to remember that you are also a chippy, so this is not hard to knock up. I do suggest that you construct your shadow box a little like this so that you can insert the actual model and still remove it to adjust placement and lighting and so on...- wotan
