    Windows dry and tinted blue, decals applied ( lovely quality Cartograph ones ), buoyancy aids painted and underwater camera sorted.

    6 coats of Proscale Aston Martin Almond Green applied, now to let it cure and find a match for the silver decals to apply silver paint in appropriate areas then mask and paint stainless steel trim around windows. Apply myriad decals and 2k clearcoat - gonna take a while.

    Best primer I've ever used and available in several colours. Because it's a micro filler I always flat down with a Tamiya 3000 sanding sponge.

    Been working on the Command Module. Cut out the 3 windows as none provided in the kit, currently waiting for the Microclear to cure before tinting them blue. Some extra bits and pieces fitted and painted to add interest. Then 9 decals to apply. When that's all done it has to be extremely...

    Flatted down the ejector pin marks, scribes deeper panel/trim lines and sprayed 3 coats ProScale back microfiller primer. Hopefully green paint tomorrow.

    Nicely rendered model, was this fwd or rwd? There are loads of similar looking rwd Toyotas on SA roads used as 18 seater taxis ( though the official maximum caught was 41 passengers + driver ) and they do not care one iota for road rules.

    Yes you are quite right about "grip" when cornering and IIRC the brakes were vastly over- servoed and either on or off. But the noise and straight line acceleration were intoxicating and you became very good friends with the local fuel station staff.
