A decent kit despite its age and it being Italeri which have caused me serious problems in the past. Reasonable amount of detail for a kit with no stand alone engine. Dragon 1/72 SH-3D "Helo 66" retrieving Apollo CM.
Interior received a very light dirtying up and everything in position although both pilots feet are nowhere near the pedals. Ballast hot glued into tail just in case. Now to join the 3 part fuselage - not looking forward to this.- Stefee

The seat rivets are painted, everything varnished with satin clear and seat belts fitted (kit parts). Dragon 1/72 SH-3D "Helo 66" retrieving Apollo CM.
As a first for me I have found that painting the seats , instrument panels and figures in 1/72 very difficult. Having only one fully functioning eye means my depth perception is totally out of whack so always put paint in the wrong place hence the somewhat amateurish attempts. All colours etc...- Stefee

Engine bay done, no extras here just the kit parts plus some generic decals. The milk chocolate and caramel ripple interior eventually masked and painted. Still lots of fettling to do and satin clearcoat. Will be flocking the carpeted areas and adding seat belts but they are both Fathers Day...- Stefee

Cheap and effective addition to your supplies?

Not used to working in such a scale with loads of tiny parts. A bit of progress made, mostly dry fitted. No decals for the instruments so have to come up with a plan.- Stefee

Whilst eradicating mould lines, flash etc on the body I noticed there was provision in the clear parts for a sunroof which my car had. This took the form of being completely removable and stoed in a bag in the boot - will try to replicate that later. So 60 nerve racking minutes later I have this.- Stefee
