    Looks a great kit.....Cars from my Yoof, Lol..... I had a mk2 Escort 1300 as my first car, so have fond memories of that genre/era. 8-) It was an old banger, engine eventually blew up down the Old Kent Road, my Brothers (both mechanics) stuck a Cortina engine it for me to fix it back up....

    To paint or not to paint

    As above, its your model, so you do what you want to do to it, and enjoy it. I really enjoy the build process too, always liked building stuff, eg: Lego, Meccano, models, and also like taking stuff apart and putting back together again, eg: various bits on cycles, motorbikes, cars, fishing gear...

    USS Enterprise - Revell - 1:1200

    Bit more progress on this little ship. Fully painted up now, some decals (to deck) added, the tiny little planes added. And have also now added the block camo scheme to the hull sides.

    Always liked the look of the proxxon stuff, but not cheap, and like you, I have lots of tools, (ex plumber, serial DIY'er and ex surveyor) so can't really justify the extra for some nice shiny Proxxon stuff (yet)... 8-)

    More photos (6).... Lovely little bust of Dads Army Favourite and also nice one of Monty.... This RNLI diorama even had little lights inside the boat, gave it that bit of extra interest... and also liked the cotton wool water wash/wake effect!

    Not the largest of shows, but it was a pleasant couple of hours mooching around having a gander at the various stalls. I reckon there were about 6 - 8 trade stalls and about 10 club stands. Some very nice models on display... Here's some photos....
