    Puppet

Hi all I have been fascinated by all types of puppets for a long time. I recently found on Netflix that Henson has made a remake of the Dark Crystal, which some of you may remember was initially made on the early 80's. Now not a critic of the film but I loved the puppets that were constructed...

    For Simon

After another 8 hour painting day I got the face nearly done. I will probably continue to play around with this. I used a new technique (for me) on the eyes. I painted them fairly flat then applied a blob of UV glue over the top to provide the highlight. I think this works fairly well. Last...

    For Simon

Gentlemen you are all most kind and your comments are much appreciated. I am continuing with the slow build of this bust. I decided that even if Yoda is Simon's avatar he still needs a closer link with the maestro of scratch. So thinking about what Yoda could be contemplating I came up with...

    Apropo of nothing in particular

I have seen a number of people painting designs on racks and then hiding them around their village for people to find. I thought I would have a go since, like most people, I seem to have some time on my hands just now. So here is my little collection painted in Acrylics on rock. Now just to hide...

Nicely done Andy. I would not worry too much about exact colours. See the example below for variants in German uniform. John

Here's my study. Out in the wild countryside of Quebec, so plenty of space all around. Does not qualify for the tidy desk club even though this is the best it gets. John
