    Flying scotsman

Yep, I'd deffo look at one of those as a project / kit. Always wanted a train set as a young'n, but never got one. I've often thought about getting myself one now, but I know it would be yet another hobby rabbit hole that I would have to go down, and TBH there just ain't enough hours in the day...

    Peter's British ATMP - Gecko - 1/35 scale - Completed

TBH, I still need to "finesse" my models a bit better. I still leave too many little sink holes, don't trim, sand and file enough, still leave too many mould lines, don't thin and/or blend my paints and washes enough, sometimes add too much glue, etc, etc. Lol, where do I stop! Generally I am...

    Lego my V8

Wow, that does look good. I used to like building Lego too. I did a model V8 a few years back (not Lego) which was battery powered and had moving valves, cylinders, etc, think it was the "Haynes" one? There are detailed enough so you actually see how an engine works and the mechanics of it all.

Best material for base board on a diorama?

Just coming back to this thread again. My last diorama (commando car in forest ammo/ re-supply dump), I found that the base (5mm foam board) warped, and its also warped on another one, my old PBI dio. I still have lots of foam board, so don't want to just throw it away. Would adding another...
