    A sweep in the Model Shop where I used to go when a teenager and I came out with these: Three Paint pots for my future F 16 C aggressor, some decal and masking paper and a green stuff acrylic putty. No kits, I was brave and strong! 😁

    M1A2 received the main paint coat AK Real Sand with a drop of Zinc Chromate Yellow to change the too brownish hue of the Sand paint. Tomorrow a clear gloss coat then a week away from the bench (family calls). Weathering and external loads will follow. TTFN Andrea

    Pics taken yesterday while lawn mowing; it looks like a NH90. Quality: low (cell phone camera, the second pic in zoom mode); clouds: nice. It scared couple of buzzards who patrolled the area for several minutes after the overfly.

    Final steps, with a surprise. When sprayed the matt final coat all the decals but the roundels silvered horribly. Probably my gloss clear coats were not as smooth as they should have been or I should have trusted more the smooth satin finish of the AK real paints and skip the clear gloss phase...
