Small bench extractor?
Well first ?? for a long time! Here goes, almost forgot how to do this lol I am looking for a small bench extractor with filters to deal with fumes etc from using brush painted lacquer, IPA, glue etc. Julie can smell these at a mile so I want to try to limit the smell. Using masking tape and fluid on the quarterback. About 80% ok. Some paint creep and my attempts to brush paint over the linoleum have not been very successful. Another attempt, small funnel. Bugger to mask due the numerous moulded lines will need some tidying up. Decided to spray the bridge in stages due the amount of detail which would be hard to paint. Brush painting Tamiya and mr color lacquers
Me again, sorry I need to brush paint small parts and no doubt touch up areas using either tamiya LP or Mr color I have retarder but do I need to thin the paint as well? If so any idea of the ratio, 50/50 like for spraying?? Thanks in advance bob- BattleshipBob

Using masking fluid

More spraying today then back to the bridge, which is the worse. One deck level warped and a lot of poor fit. Built these two units, they set either side of the lower bridge and have a glass panel. No idea what they are, the navigation lights are mounted on the outside. They have to be fired...- BattleshipBob

Just bought shares in tamiya masking tape !! Sprayed decks in Tamiya linoleum LP. Middle section now in place It looks bad but with the upper deck in place you can't see inside. Thanks John Hull painted in tamiya LP Kure grey, as i am painting the decks separately I thought I had better mask the lip inside the hull to mount the decks on, so will give a good contact for the glue Lot of tape!! Happy as a pig in the old brown stuff- BattleshipBob

Still going lol One thing I am getting to grips with his good old patience and that includes letting paint dry. So started the priming yesterday and today painted her bum using tamiya LP. No attempt at masking as the Kure grey will cover the red- BattleshipBob
