Action Model Centre in Torquay.
Although I have spotted In Torquay harbour, the actual Embarkation Ramps used to load the US soldier onto their landing crafts prior to the journey to Omaha and Utah Beaches on D-Day,... A totally sobering site to realise that for many young men this would be the last journey they would ever take. -

Guys, I'm in Torquay this week..(enjoying the English Riviera to it's fullest) and whilst driving around I've spotted a model shop called Action Model Centre, has anybody been here before ? there's not much info about it on the web and I wondered if it's worth dropping in to splash some cash ? -
Anybody with advice or a 3d printer.. help !!
For my next build I'm planning on doing this picture as a dio, a pretty iconic image However, I can't seem to find any 1/35 children throwing a stone/rock. etc, like this anywhere on the web, is there any chance somebody could 3d print one for me..(for beer tokens of course), I've no idea... -

and another update, been busy so I haven't been able to get back to the bench for a while, however a few days ago I threw some DAS clay at a picture frame and came up with this...... As I'm posting this the base is currently drying after a splash around with some oil washes to deepen the...- langy71

1/35 kerbs ??
Gents, what do you use to create paving slab / pavement kerbs ?, is there a cheap mould I can purchase ? or do you have your own way of creating them...( I need around half a dozen for the Merkava dio I'm working on) TIA- langy71

whilst I summon up the courage to have a crack at a road I've been busying myself with a bit of weathering.. just some gentle steaking/ dust effects on the side skirts and some chipping around the rest of the high points..- langy71

And finally, she reached the finish line.. nothing to add other than i still need to add some 1/35 belt link (thanks to @Airborne01) .. but for now she's done... Comments / Critiques are more than welcome... Oh and excuse the loads of pics -

An afternoon spent messing around with the Merkava, brown pin wash, and a spot of dry brushing for highlights.... I've also fitted the Ball and Chain turret armour.... talk about an absolute ball ache....lol- langy71

So, having finally completed my Takom King Tiger...(I'll get some pics done this weekend), I had a dig around in the stash to find something a bit more modern, I'm currently at the paint stage of this build, base coats are on, and the detail painting has commenced.. (there's still more...- langy71

Belt or Drum
Would the MG34 fitted to German Armour...(the cupola mounted weapon) usually be fed by belt or Drum, or would it come down to what ever the Tank crew could lay their hands on ?- langy71

1/35 Das Werk King Tiger.
Had a bit of a play with plastic this afternoon, and borrowed (re-purposed) an early diorama I made, I'm thinking of throwing a bit more rubble onto it, and then moving this build forward to the finish line... A few pics....so far.. -

After getting all excited at how @BarryW 's modelling room is coming along, I decided to have a go at sorting out our spare room.. (now the kids have finally fled the nest..yay !!!!), and finally get it how I wanted it in terms of 'usable build space', It will only ever be a box room, but...- langy71
