    Airfix 1/48 Sea king

Lovely to build, good choice of which model and paint scheme, first whirly bird for me!

    Zoukei-Mura 1/32 Messerschmitt BF109G-14 'White 1'

The usual high ZM standard, so much detail and all covered up, you do get the option of leaving the engine out displayed beside it though and the cowlings open/shut. Don't get me started on Spinner decals....the devil's spawn!!! Del

    Quick question re: varnish.

Hi gang, I'm currently using vallejo gloss varnish via airbrush, however I'd like to try something that really does spray straight from the bottle as I have to thin the gloss (satin and matt fine) I've used future in the past and a friend recommended adclad aqua gloss but I'd rather hear your...

Evening gang, Just watched a cracking documentary on Tank history and a lot was spent on the T34. Would love to build one, any pointers on a great kit, if any? Thanks in advance!! Del

    Asuka 1/35 M4A1 Sherman.

'Lucky Tiger'. I purchased some metal after market tracks for this one as the rubber ones it comes with weren't all that. Suspension was a lot of fun, you're supplied with a rubber sheet which you cut into shapes to act as the suspension so you make it as hard/soft as you like. Tracks were...

    A question.

Just wanted to probe the collective professional minds here. I'm really building up a head of steam with my modelling. I've picked up some good skills which I've enjoyed. However, I'm picking up £20/30 models which I'm completing in a 2/3 day window. So, I'm thinking of spending money on...

    Italeri 1/12 F104G Cockpit.

I invented new sweary words with this...lots of flash, poor fitting but a challenge for my small detail painting due to my injured hand (shakes due to tendon damage after being stabbed through the hand.) I liked the challenge though!

    1/24 Airfix Spitfire.

Got to say, a lovely kit. Wings wanted to disrupt the party by not snuggling up to the fuselage but that's could be me!

    Cutting and shaping decals.

I'm about a 1/3 through the new Airfix Spitfire and I've decided to leave open the gun bays on the wings. I haven't done this before so never concerned with decals. However, this time I will leave them open so I'm interested to know what your technique is in applying decals surrounding open...

    Its here.

Got me the new 1/24 Spitfire from Airfix. Looks great, however I'd like to get some better detailed cockpit parts and hopefully a good canopy mask. Any pointers greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Del
