    Finally got my hands on this. Some lovely detail and delicate pieces.The Quad .50 mount is beautifully done.Much finer than their previous one with the M35 Guntruck.

    This has popped up on E-bay. A set of two Royal Marines but......at that price are they recasts do you think? If they're genuine I'd be in like Flint but don't want to do business with people ripping other people's work off.

    Slow progress! Got beaten by the Masterclub tiny tracks.I just couldn't see the tiny holes where the tiny track pins snap when you have to guess where to put them.i've used the AFV Club links instead which are called clickable but are very definitely all too unclickable as well.Tamiya extra thin...

    First paint job.Needs to be toned down and then detail painting and personal equipment added. the two front headlights are below the track guard and reversed. sorry about the poor photo quality.Done on my tablet.

    Quick update.A couple of shots before slapping the wet stuff on. I used Masterclub bolts for the hull top though I think they should be a little forward of where they are. The track guard needs flattening at the corners and the tools and personal equipment will be fitted after the main painting...

The AFV Club Scimitar is an old model now but still very good.Out of the box it builds a fairly accurate vehicle seen during the first Gulf war or deployed in Bosnia with IFOR or UNPROFOR but needs a fair few mods to depict one of the vehicles during...
