Started working on my "Klein Boet - Ou Boet" display. For the uninitiated, that is "Baby Brother - Older Brother". This play on words highlights the obvious size difference between the new generation armoured car and that of the older post WW2 designed armoured car. Anyway, till the next update.- Snowman

Macross on Disney
Personally, I do think the singing bit is a bit overdone, probably unique to the Robotech/Macross genre, but I do like the fighters and mecha. Here are a couple of the kits that I have and have built. There are more. Now you can see why I like them. Till later.- Snowman

It's been a while, the weather is warmer and its time to throw some paint at the Noddy car. Primer is down, used Tamiya fine surface primer, light grey. Did a bit if pre shading, which is something I should have done with the Rooikat. Anyway, things are moving forward. Not sure I'll get more...- Snowman

Well the wire grab handles look much better and more robust. I had to use a harder wire for the long grab handle above the door as the copper was too soft. The next tricky task is to remodel the headlights, thankfully I have unearthed some really good photos to base my work on. Till the next...- Snowman

It's been a while, doing research and asking questions. It turns out that I needed to rotate the gunner copula by 90 degs and simplify the upper deck. I'll look to replace all plastic grab holds with wire. Still chipping away. Till next time.- Snowman

After half assembling the hull, I had to chuckle because it reminded me of an early ATAT walker from the clone wars, missing a leg. Anyway, pleased with my progress so far. Though I need to ponder the headlights which too are different to the variant depicted in the kit. Till the next update!- Snowman

Well, I have been tinkering with the turret and almighty 44 calibre 155mm main gun. Removed to top storage rail that I had initially fitted, removed the bush bar mounting detail around smoke launchers. Fitter rear access door and decking, just missing a deck chair...
