Waterproof a scale boat
Hi all, this particularly relates to an Italeri 1/35 Elco I'm converting to R/C, which I haven't did before. Although the kit has a removable deck as 1 complete piece, I would preferably have only the centre section of superstructure removable for quick access, possibly removing the fixing tabs...- Jostro65

Best model you ever made?
"best" can be so subjective. The one I'm most pleased to have finished is my revell 1/400 enterprise, just completed couple weeks ago, back and forwards on it for a year, with long periods off it when it began to get the better of me. At last, completed as much as it will be. Lost the will to even go up the loft for a week or so there! Tidied up and couple of painted insignia as had no other decals to replace the kit ones. I'm afraid there was no attempt at weathering as I just couldn't look at this little fekker any more...- Jostro65

First time on a group build, be gentle! Don't usually do 72 scale as the eyes, in this case, do not have it. But found this cheap on eBay and it seems to fit the criteria. Far as my limited reading on it goes, (and full credit to this builder where most of my info came from...- Jostro65

One of THOSE days....
I'm sure everyone has had at least one of these, ranging from mildly irritated , to full blown WTF days! Doing my 1/32 Revell Spitfire, (ok not the most expensive!), but really put a lot of effort into this one. Slowly improving.....so slowly......
Some of the things I've done so far in various stages/attempts at slight weathering. My loft is my workspace so have to be careful in what paints etc I use as ventilation is almost non-existent. Running out of space so the hard decisions will have to be made soon!- Jostro65
