    Thanks for your thoughts Steve, no the feed orientation is correct. The ammo belt feeds out of the top front of the ammo box, and then up and around a conical feed guide which can be seen on the side of the MG. Cheers Garry

    With sincere thanks to Jakko, who noted the weird ammo belt, and my noted frustration with said belt I have come up with a plan B. By removing the ammo feed, as if the weapon is not loaded, I think reduces the shabbiness of the end result, as well as my irritation . What do you think? That is...

    Well, my helichopperwhirlybird offering is pretty much done. I have taken this to the level that I am comfortable with, and my skill level allows, so all in I am reasonably pleased with the end result. No it's not perfect, but I'm getting better with every model, and most importantly having fun.

    Progress thus far. I have managed to get all the external trim attached, main colours sprayed and clear coated. Now to the windows, that will be fun :smiling2: and then the decals and some delicate weathering.
