    Advice needed re: window frames

I think Hobbycraft do the plasticard sheets to? as well as many other scale model bits of gear, never thought of them when I first got back into it, but now pop into my local one every now and again and you can get some good bargains, including some kits....

Parcel man has been. straight from our very own SMS, Thank John.... My quest to build Tigers in multiple sizes continues... I now have 1/48 and 1/35... And some paint, my basic Spit research for the current GB 90th Anniversary found two unusual colours, Pru blue and Pru pink, which I think were...

    Advice needed re: window frames

Google AI seems to think that most scale model kits are made from ABS polystyrene, not HIPS polystyrene. It says: The vast majority of plastic scale model kits are made from High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS), not ABS. HIPS is the industry standard for injection-molded kits because it is easy to...

    Hi All

One of the ranges I go to for my air rifle target shooting has a good burger van, and they do a lovely egg sandwich with two eggs, don't think I've ever had three, might have to ask for one to give it a try! 8-)

    British Universal Carrier Mk2 - Tamiya 1:35

Main wheels now on, made sure to get a good bond, and will leave them for a good 24 hrs, as we have the horrid rubber stretchy tracks to fit, so may have to stretch them over the wheels, so could easily come loose or worse come off!

    Peter's Airfix Spitfire Mk.1a - 1:72 - 90 Yrs of Spitfires GB

What to do with completed models?

I think I asked this last year, Lol.... I was running out of space, but have dismantled some, and kept parts that I think I might use again. Did think about ebay, some do sell, but there's the hassle of packing so it does not get damaged, etc? Did think about charity shops, but TBH you don't see...

    British Universal Carrier Mk2 - Tamiya 1:35

There's not a lot of room for the driver figure! Had to carefully check his arms a few time to make sure they were in the correct position. Parts ready for a dry run... Then put the pieces in place, front bonnet and front bulhead, to check the driver fits and looks ok.... Then primed up, in...

Yep, but reckon I'll stop at 1/35, due to lack of space and time, so many kits, not enough hours, Lol...

At what point is your "stash" getting out of hand?

Yeah, last year I bought two small auction lots, each lot had several kits in it, I bought them just cos they were cheap and ended up with a load of older kits, mostly planes, which are not my favorites TBH!
