Thanks Paul. I’m on top of most of this. My stick is basically a walking pole, having the side grip if I need it, but I have set it up as a walking aid. Hi all. Quick update. Five weeks on and all is great. I am up to 5000 plus steps a day (about two miles in old money), getting stronger, off crutches, just use a stick while out as support if I tire, and am taking no painkillers. That’s coming on well Tony. Like the landing light conversion as well. The Japanese idea of clear bulbs in coloured acetate is far more logical than the British idea of coloured bulbs in clear acetate isn’t it. Far less spare bulb types needed in stores.- Tim Marlow

Tamiya here too, but I have also used blue tack, magic putty, damp paper, and even marmite, on occasion. Each has its merits and advantages/disadvantages and is suitable for different tasks. I would add some PVA into the water you use to activate the modroc. It will toughen up the shell and stop it flaking. I use PVA in any plaster I use for gaming bases for that very reason. I’ve had one for years. Very useful for flushing the airbrush, and for colour changing. However, it catches the spray, but doesn’t do much else. The fumes come out where the filter is located. You still need to locate it in your spray booth when you use it.- Tim Marlow
