    “Charity” to fly again 🤞

I read somewhere that in April 1942 there were more bombs dropped on Malta than on London during the blitz. I'm not surprised that many Maltese lived underground. Pete

    Airfix 1/24 MGB (07401)

Here's my 1:1 in about 1977: No hood (it fell apart). Floor was made of oil cans hammered flat and pop-riveted to the rust. Fuel tank was rotten and leaked. But it was fun! Pete

    “Charity” to fly again 🤞

Excellent video, thanks Geoff. I had a 2-day CENELEC meeting in Malta a couple of decades ago and was lucky enough to visit the museum that has Faith. I also found the wartime ID card of a chap who'd worked down the mines with my father-in-law. Wish I could have stayed longer. It's a fascinating...

I had one and it didn't leak much at all. It burnt the oil before it could leak out! Pete

    Pete's Garden Room

Oh yes, I had a vague memory of you building something very much like this and probably making a much better job of it. It's not a Book Nook, in fact there isn't a brand name that I can see. Pete

    Revell Aqua, not impressed!

The pot is fine, you twist it to get the top off. I've airbrushed it a few times; you're right, it does need a lot of thinning but it thins well with just water. Pete
