Nick's Airfix 1/48 Spitfire Mk XIV.

That's a nice choice - looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

    Colin M's 1/48 Airfix Spitfire PR.XIX

Nice choice of kit - I have the 1/72 kit in the stash. I do actually like the boxart, it makes a nice change from the two tone PRU scheme.

    Geoff’s 1/48 Eduard Spitfire Story - Spitfire Mk.I build.

An excellent choice Geoff, look forward to seeing it. You can't go wrong with a BofB mk.I. I think what Geoff is correct, the early apple green was prewar. Gray-Green came in quite quickly.

    Joe's Airfix 1/48 Spitfire Mk1

A nice choice. I'm just finishing up a Tamiya mk.I at the moment, and have one of these in the to-build pile so I can compare the two. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

    Hi All

3 fried eggs, Home made bread, mango chutney on one slice and sweet chilli sauce on the other - food of the gods. Thanks! :) I know right, fried egg sandwiches are the best. I do have chilli sauce and chutney - and very nice it is too with a few eggs and a bit of home made bread. :) Thanks!

Boatmans 1/200 scale USS HORNET CV8 BUILD AN LIGHTS for the Doolittle raid on japan

Good to see this still going strong Chris - shame about the PE but I still say you can call it battle damage. Hope all is well with you and Jen.

Welcome to this Anniversary GB, 90 years of Spitfires.

Hi Gents, I was planning on building a Spitfire or two to celebrate the anniversary, so being new to the forum I'd like to join in if that's okay?

The rise of Warhammer, et al, V "regular" traditional scale modelling?

As Tim said GW is hardly the new guy on the block, they've been around since the 80's. Personally I think the two hobby's go well hand in hand, I know a number of 'normal' modellers who build GW kits, especially the vehicles, without having any interest in wargaming or even collecting an army -...

At what point is your "stash" getting out of hand?

That's probably the best way to be - If I had my time again I'd do the same. As it is I have about 100 kits in the stash which is far too many. The plan is currently to sell a few off or at least donate them to 'Models for Heroes'.

    Hi All

Hi All, Just thought I'd drop in and say Hi. I used to be a member a while back but for the life of me I can't remember what my login details were - I wasn't on here for long anyway so it doesn't really matter. I mainly build Aircraft and Armour - British and US WWII and Cold War are my...
