    It seems plausible that they did have a variety of colours, especially the interiors. Just look at the number of operators, and it stands to reason there would be quite a few variations on the bay and cockpit colours.

    Not much progress to photo today. I've been doing the PE for the console; also, the engine is together. Hopefully, next week will be the fuselage, but I've not yet figured out the in-flight part and whether to deploy the airbrakes or undercarriage. couple of pictures of the console

    That is a nuts amount of work to go into a teeny-tiny model! You must be very scared of the carpet monster; if any bits fall there, you've no chance of finding them again. On the plus side, a lot less painting than a 1/48 or worse...

    Me too! Though I was younger and more interested in a quarter of black jacks and fruit salads than model kits, by the time I started modelling, we were living off bases, so just Woolies and WH Smith by then. We lived in Singapore too, but I was only 3-5 - I suspect Lego featured more.
