    Nice weathering on the drive wheels and sprockets. If not all ready done you may want weather the inside of the sprocket and the backside of both the rear wheels and sprockets as these will be on view. I have this zim photo that may be of help when getting the pattern right Great work so...

    A Ref Book would be nice....

    I have this one and Ospreys US Infantryman in Vietnam The Shelby book is superb but all in B&W except for 4 colour photos. The Osprey one has a couple of pages of colour uniforms but the rest is narrative. I have them in electronic form which I can send you if you dont want to buy them.

    Half way through UM's 1/72 scale Sd. Kfz. 140 Flakpanzer 38(t). The flak unit was awful so I replaced it with one from ICM. It was a joy to build. This is the third kit I have built from ICM recently and I am most impressed. Just have to add on the 384 missing track pins now! :sad-face: :thumb2...

    I think we have a case of VARIANTS. There are metal slats, wooden slats and wooden slats with metal holders. I would imagine wood would be popular especially on the Eastern Front with added grip during the winter months. I will ask the experts and see what they say. A very interesting question...

    Did the rules change after the war so that if the vehicle went into private/business use that it had to be licensed to be driven on the road??

    Tiger according to box early production

    They were made of steel David Being by the rear exhausts they got covered in exhaust fumes. Original colour would be the same as the tank colour. However they were replaced often as they did split easily.

    This is my only picture of the UE I would imagine the legs were strapped to the back and the chocks welding it to the front. Then it would be used like a static tank destroyer ie Stug, Jagpanther I will have a look through my reference material to see what I can find
