    Good luck with the liquid pigment. I have an aircraft set that I simply didn’t get on with Bob. I found the remover stripped the underlying paint. Probably just me though. Looking very good otherwise though.

    Looking lovely Ian. A flat coat will set them off well. It will contrast nicely with the more shiny beak. One think I would say though, and you can ignore it if you want, is that on the male the white rump extends to just past the legs. Female is correct though 👍

    You will enjoy that Steven. I made an Eduard 1/48 Zero last year for a group build and think it was possibly the best kit for fit and finish I’ve ever made. I would ask for a replacement for that damaged part though…..

    Plus one on masking the windows. They are inset to mimic the flush glazing on the actual units, so are probably glued in to keep them in place. Those on the doors (drop lights) and cab area are at a different level, so taking them out might be a little easier. Other transfer manufacturers...

    Hiya. I use micro sol and micro set to soften and settle them. Looking very good is this one 👍. Like the exhausts as well. I tend to use the lifecolor rust set and give it a wash of indigo blue. Looks similar , but yours has the more interesting variations….

    My paint jobs are done in a spare bedroom….but I still get dust 😁. I wash my builds in the sink with dish soap before painting. Best way to get rid of finger grease and general swarf.

    I did toy with the idea of making a drop down spray booth plastic front curtain to minimise dust ingress while drying. Basically, spray, switch off booth, drop curtain…. However , cleaning the booth properly before spraying probably gives a better result. The dust (dried paint droplets) that...

    Musing aloud, I’m not sure blowing dust off is the best idea. Just puts it back in the air so it can land back on the newly sprayed wet paint when the air is pulled back in by suction from the spray booth. Don’t know the answer though, wipe over with a damp brush perhaps?

    I’d say that brush is dead. Anything able to redissolve latex rubber is going to seriously damage the bristles as well.
