    Semovente

Another superb model. Love the details and the paint job. For some strange reason these always make me think that it's a tank that has been trodden on :)

Papa695s 1/72 Spitfire PR XIX 90th Anniversary GB

That's a great result. A bit different as well 👍

    Rebuilt my workbench

Looks a great space to escape to.

    Rocket Man

    Superb. Love the damage/weathering.

    Carpet

For the smaller scales I have used Mr Surfacer 500 dabbed on to the area with a stiffish brush to create texture and then painted it.

FROG 1/72 de Havilland DH 60 g Gypsy Moth

Not a lot to this kit so room for your improvements. Almost a hundred years ago - one hell of an achievement. I don't think I'd want to fly far in such a flimsy looking plane. 😳

Tonys Italeri 1/48 Spitfire mk XVI

Well certainly a few challenging issues. You've done a great job of sorting them out. Now you're at the painting stage things should hopefully go smoothly.

    Andy's Spitfire trio - 90th Anniversary GB

Those do look very good indeed. Really well done. Baby bear is rather cute :)

    Colin M's 1/48 Airfix Spitfire PR.XIX

Coming on a treat Colin. Looks a very nice kit. We rarely see these late Spitfires built, most often WW2/BoB. The info on the box - 1963 and still in use.

    Yamaha YZF-R1 1999

    Great result George. Well done.

    Tamiya Stratos

Certainly a geriatric kit. Looking good. Driver looks the part.

    Nick's Mini Art 1/35 Tempo E400

You're making a cracking job of this. Despite it being small and having a lower parts count it seems a very fiddly kit. Love the worn, wooden floor.
  13. Jim R

    Brian's Caldercraft 1/72 HMS Victory

You're making great progress. The further on you get with this the more fiddly it seems to get.

    Pete's Magic Wand shop

That is excellent. These kits are a lot of work but the detail and end result justifies all the time and effort.

    1/1 paintwork

Some skilled work there Andy and some challenges. That hail damage is horrendous.

    Model newbie

Welcome to the forum Jordan. I'm sure you'll enjoy your time here so join in and have fun. Motorcycle kits can be a bit fiddly but build up into stunning models. I notice you're from Leeds. I spent 35+ years in Pontefract and knew Leeds well.

    Rembering Ron.

That would certainly be a fitting tribute to Ron.

    Update on Ron

Yes Tim. I remember that as well. A wonderful, almost believable, story and a superb model beautifully photographed.

    Update on Ron

Such very, very sad news. My thoughts are with his family and friends. He was such a great modeller who produced wonderful dios but never took himself too seriously. His skills and sense of humour will be greatly missed. Love the idea of a build in his memory.
