So not very exciting but heard good things about this range in terms of performance..... Laquer based paints are out and these seem to be the best water based ones.... If I get in ok with this, might order some more in the future. ATB. Andrew -

Hi all So this arrived today for my Mossie build.... It really was very expensive given the price of the kit (excessive delivery charges and VAT were the main cause). However, I've lost two weeks to my work on the DIY nose and there was no guarantee how much longer it would take and more... -

Hi Tim, Here's the other version. Although in hindsight I think the double-page spread has better definition. As for the amount of metal in the "footprint", it's just dawned on me that we're only seeing the tracer rounds......about 1 in 5 I believe...... that really is a lot of lead...- adt70hk

Ok. So as some of you may have seen, my Tamiya FB VI sacrificed itself to become a Mk XIII for the Mossie GB after it turned out Tamiya's Mk XIII I had in the stash came with the wrong nose. This of course left me without a Mossie FB Mk VI for my 'Hunters and Hunted' collection...... Clearly... -

1/72 Tamiya kit - should I complain about these wings?
Hi all I'm about to start my Mossie GB kit and have noticed these marks on the wings.....should I worry and complain? Or will I be ok? I can't feel anything with my finger or nails when I run over them, the wings don't seem obviously distorted and both of the other Tamiya Mossie kits I have...- adt70hk

What's on the bench 2022

Andrew's 2x AZ Model Bf 109 G-6 - JG300 'Wilde Sau' (The Hunters and the Hunted)
And so decal placement has started.... Approx 55 per plane.... The AM decals are very nice but once down they won't move, making proper first time placement essential, which isn't easy as you can see if you look closely....I also think the crosses may be slightly overscale based on the side...- adt70hk

Hi Steve, I am no expert on British armoured cars but I am pretty certain that is a Humber armoured car of some type. Looks very similar to the Daimler armoured car from the side in many ways.
