Or has anyone built this kits? Just looking for some help as the kits is shody as hell?

I built one a long time ago. So long ago I followed the Airfix instructions and painted it in one overall green colour. I built all the Airfix 1/24 kits and I remember this being the best of the lot.

Are you looking to detail the cockpit? At this scale you could do a lot yourself. I don't think it was too bad for it's age and the engine is good too.

I did have some fit issues but I'm not sure if that was my fault or due to the age of the kit!

Hobby Decal do/did some dry transfer stencils for the kit but I don't know of any other after market goodies.

Cheers

Steve

Only bit i could find for it was on the Hannants website Buy Airscale AS24JUA 1:24 scale from Hannants. We sell Aircraft decals (military), models, decals, paints & books.

Really?I'm pretty sure that the Airfix and Heller kits are from the same moulds.

The Airfix kits No. 18002 and 18002-7 are the same kit as MPC kit No. 1843 according to the LSP Forum database

Yeah the figures are very good and but the kit lets the side down.

I have hear the heller one is the better but how much better?

I don't know the Heller boxing,it may have some minor differences like different decal options but is essentially the same as the Airfix kit.

Cheers

Steve

As Heller is the French division of Hornby/Airfix I am very sure its exactly the same kit.
