Looking very nice Scott. I would really like one of these it's just the size that puts me off not much space

Liking this a lot Scott she's looking clean and love the engine brass that must have been a lot of hard work getting it so clean and shiny

The bronze colour is from the citadel range of metallics called hashut copper, this is after two applications.

Sorry I'm late! :(

Scott...very impressive mate!

The Beaufighter was an ugly bird with sex appeal...there's just something about these aircraft that give it that...nice!...

Think I better leave before it sounds worse that what it's east to!

Lee :)

That's looking lovely Scott, looking forward to seeing this one finished

Hi all here is the latest update on the beaufighter, I have done some stenciling, added a torpedo from an he111 heinkel and run over the raised panel lines with nuln oil, they still need to be neatened up, after that its light weathering and a few more decals and done opinions and comments welcome.

Hi Scott

What can I say, this has tuned out just to be a beautiful lady indeed, I like all the angles of pics as you have shown off her lines to the best angle.

There is nothing at all wrong with her that I can see( I'm not a professional ). Some may say the panel lining is too dark but as you have pointed out your still to do a light weathering so once this has taken place I'm sure the lines would soften a little ( that's my theory.

As you have gone for a Beau that is a torpedo Srike carrier then I would assume that a light dabbing of the salty air on the extremities would not go a miss ( my own opinion )

I recently did a 1/72 Airfix Wilcat soon to be shown here and I have put a little salty air in the weathering as the aircraft would be constantly at the mercy of nature whilst on deck. True the beaufighter was not carrier bourne but when flying low etc ( does that make sense)

I also did if you remember my P47 thunderbolt in Russian service. That depicts the sand weathering on the extremities as before the Russians took delivery they were flown to Iran ( if memorie serves)

Any ways you have produced a cracking example

Can't wait to see it it in the compleated section

Cheers Robert, she is no show winner by any stretch of the imagination, she is a learning curve leading me to my next larger project which will be the heinkel in 1/32 for which I have a quality colour scheme planned.
