Hi Si, thanks. Thought cutting off that corner would just add to the overall look. Had played with the idea of a boat but too small an area so maybe some bits of wood floating about, as if blown in.

Thanks Paul, mmm now that's an idea. Scratchery time me things, pewter maybe, as can't bend plastic sheet, or can I ?

Thank you Steve, had loads of fun today after yesterday's fiasco doing that Hobby Boss.

A change is as good as a rest it is said, and how right that is. This morning and most of the late afternoon I spent painting the sets on the base, then dry brushing the wall brickwork. Now drying overnight for the next stage. The brick work will have a white / grey pigment to represent the mortar brushed over it. Once that is done them begins the individual brick painting with a selection of brick colours.

This is coming on a treat. The walls and the cobbled area are spot on. Interesting method for modelling water.
