Finally, it's finished!P1060169.JPGP1060170.JPGP1060171.JPGP1060172.JPGP1060173.JPGP1060174.JPG

And, with it's Austrian companion the HobbyBoss ADGZP1060176.JPG

The HobbyBoss Saurer Sd.kfz. 254 is not one for the beginner - it's complex suspension and individual track links make it a tricky build. I'm not entirely happy, with the tracks, but short of taking them all apart. that's how they will stay! Otherwise, it's a bit boring - a nice gun turret would improve it.
Thanks for looking in...............

Well that is a contraption and a half Dave. Glad you managed to make it to the end with this one. I take it you wont be doing another one any time soon?? :smiling5:

Steve,
Well, a repeat would be much much easier! I found all the pitfalls & bear traps.................but no, I won't be making another. :cold-sweat:

Sorry I missed this at the time, Dave. It looks really good- and close competition with Richard Foenander's Maultier thingy for ugliest vehicle!
I'm not tempted, I have to say, but full marks for a challenging build :thumb2:

Hi Dave
A very pleasing result. It certainly is a strange vehicle. Looks like you got two kits mixed up :smiling: :tongue-out3:

Very well executed Dave, a rare piece indeed and I love the oddballs.

Dave,
Well done, you overcame the problems and sorted out the niggles to produce this unusual subject. A credit to you.
Cheers, Mike.
